Empire Literary is built for bestselling authors. We identify exceptional talent, match each book with the right publishing partner, and negotiate industry-leading terms on behalf of our extraordinary clients.

Empire was founded in 2013 by Andrea Barzvi, following fourteen years as a literary agent at ICM Partners. Since then, the agency has grown to represent a wide range of authors across genres, including numerous New York Times bestsellers and award-winning writers.

Empire Literary prides itself on providing personalized and hands-on attention to each and every client, with a long-term approach to building author careers — guiding each book from concept through publication and beyond. We are agents who are personally invested in our clients' success, relentlessly hands on, and focused on maximizing the value of every opportunity.
